San Francisco, CA. When Paula and Robert started playing music together they couldn’t have been happier. The words and music just flowed when they collaborated and they had a creative burst that they both felt was “gold”. Romance also bloomed and soon they were planning to be married.

They hit the road to build their fan base and things actually started to happen! Live performance success, media interest and a recording contract all within 18 months. They even had one of their songs used by a car company in a nationwide commercial.

At the end of the mediation they asked the mediator to act as an arbitrator and decide the remaining issues. They signed an arbitration agreement and the mediator/arbitrator asked them to write down their very best offers on two sheets of paper and then she would decide which offer was the most fair and would pick one. As it turned out the parties got so close to solving their dispute that they each wrote down almost the exact same best offer. The case was settled in a manner they each found fair.
